About the role

As a Credit Analyst at Northmill, you play a key role in our lending to businesses. You will work on analyzing and assessing credit applications from companies across various industries, with the goal of ensuring sound and strategically considered lending. Through your analysis, you contribute not only to making well-informed credit decisions but also to developing and optimizing our credit processes.

Your work involves delving into financial reports, conducting thorough risk assessments, and evaluating business strategies to create a comprehensive picture of the customer's creditworthiness. The results of your analyses are compiled into well-founded credit memoranda (credit PM), which you present to Northmill's credit committee.

Your main responsibilities

• Conduct credit assessments of companies based on financial data, industry analysis, and risk assessment.
• Write and present credit memoranda (credit PM) to the credit committee.
• Actively contribute to growth and risk management strategies.
• Communicate insights and decisions to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance and risk management in line with applicable regulations

Your background

We are looking for someone with experience in credit analysis, preferably from a bank, fintech, or another financial institution. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience; whether you are at the beginning of your career or have a more senior profile, the most important thing is that you possess the right analytical skills and business drive.

• Experience in credit analysis and corporate finance.
• Good understanding of financial reports and key figures.
• Experience in writing and presenting credit PM.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.

To succeed in this role, we hope you have:
